The Buzz: Director Joe Carnahan has spat back at his many critics by saying this Alaska-set survival tale is his best script to date. It's certainly the first time I've been interested in him since Narc -- and I was among the many waiting in anticipation for Smokin' Aces and was disappointed for how average it was. If Carnahan scales back the style and puts the focus on Liam Neeson and his underlings, I promise I won't bring Frozen to mind once the wolves arrive.
